Jai & Jai Gallery presents Michael Nesbit’s inaugural solo exhibition, ‘Towards Phlatness’ – a series of 20 Lithographic prints produced in collaboration with Francesco Siqueiros (El Nopal Press.) ‘Toward Phlatness’ is currently on display through June 14, 2014 at Jai & Jai Gallery.
About the artist: Michael Nesbit, a native of Los Angeles, is currently a project designer at award winning architecture firm, Morphosis. Along with his current discipline, Michael is exploring areas between art and architecture, with an interest in literal misrepresentation. These particular interests have worked their way into gallery exhibits in Los Angeles to academic workshops at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. Previous to current work, Michael played four years of professional baseball with the Seattle Mariners. He received his Bachelor’s of Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture.
