Mozhdeh Matin March 29th, 2014

Mozhdeh Matin is an Iranian-born designer, currently based in Los Angeles. Mozhdeh’s work is a provocative reinvention of the integral relationships between material, surface and effects that navigate through emerging cultural behaviors. These interests are explored at a variety of scales and sensations, from tactile to spatial.
Mozhdeh has previously worked with Southern California’s most innovative firms such as Morphosis Architects and Atelier Manferdini. She has also served as an Adjunct Professor at the New School of Architecture and Design in San Diego, California. Currently Mozhdeh is working as a freelance designer on a variety of projects from jewelry and accessory design to residential and retail space design that creates a synergy between her passion for architecture, fashion photography and merchandizing. Mozhdeh received her Bachelors of Science in Architecture at the University of Maryland and her Masters of Architecture at the Southern California Institute of Architecture.
